Privacy Policy

Typing Game (typing-game.com) is a free typing practice site. We do not collect your personal data on our servers for normal use. This page describes what happens in your browser when you use the site.
1. Data we do not collect (normal use)
We do not require sign-up to use the site. When you only browse or play without signing in, we do not send your name, email, or any personally identifiable information to our servers.
1a. Optional sign-in (account, ranking, activity)
You may optionally sign in with Google to use features such as leaderboards, activity history, and statistics. When you sign in:
- Authentication is handled by Google and Supabase. We do not see or store your Google password.
- Data we store (in Supabase, our backend) includes: a user identifier linked to your Google account, a display name you can edit (used on leaderboards), your leaderboard scores (category, mode, WPM, etc.), and activity history (practice sessions and stats).
- We do not sell this data. We use it only to provide the signed-in features (rankings, your stats) and to operate the service.

1b. Report bug (optional)
If you use the "Report bug" feature in Settings, the text you enter (if any), the page URL, and browser information may be sent to our systems (e.g. to create an issue in our repository). Please do not include personal data in your report if you wish to keep it private.
2. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (e.g. number of visitors, which pages are viewed). Google may collect data such as your IP address, approximate location, device type, and browser. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We use this data only in aggregated form to improve the site.
3. Local storage (your device only)
The site uses your browser's local storage to save:
- Settings — theme, language, font size, sound, display options, daily goal, and other preferences so your choices are remembered.
- Practice data — words typed today, streak, activity calendar, wrong-words list, statistics, and any custom word lists you create. All of this stays only on your device; we do not receive or store it.
You can clear this data at any time via your browser's settings (clear site data / local storage).
4. Third parties and external links
We use Google for Analytics (see above) and, if you sign in, for authentication (OAuth). We use Supabase to store account-related data (display name, leaderboard scores, activity history) when you are signed in; see Supabase Privacy. We do not embed other third-party trackers. Links to external sites (e.g. our donation page on Ko-fi) have their own privacy policies.
5. Changes
We may update this page from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will be revised when we do.
6. Contact
We do not operate a public contact form. For questions about this privacy policy, you can use the "Report bug" feature in Settings to send us a message.

Typing Game（typing-game.com）は無料のタイピング練習サイトです。通常の利用では、当サイトのサーバーでお客様の個人データを収集しません。このページでは、サイト利用時にブラウザ内で行われる処理について説明します。
1. 収集しないデータ（通常利用時）
サイトの利用に会員登録は不要です。ログインせずに閲覧・プレイのみする場合、氏名・メールアドレスその他の個人を特定できる情報を当サイトのサーバーに送ることはありません。
1a. 任意のログイン（アカウント・ランキング・活動履歴）
ランキング・活動履歴・統計機能などを利用する場合、Google でログインできます。ログイン時には次のように扱います。
- 認証は Google と Supabase により行われます。Google のパスワードを当サイトで見る・保存することはありません。
- 当方が保存するデータ（Supabase 上）には、Google アカウントに紐づくユーザーID、編集可能な表示名（ランキング表示用）、ランキング用スコア（カテゴリ・モード・WPM など）、および活動履歴（プレイ記録・統計）が含まれます。
- これらのデータを第三者に販売することはありません。ランキング・統計表示などログイン機能の提供と運営にのみ利用します。
このデータには Supabase のプライバシー・データ処理方針が適用されます：Supabase Privacy。
1b. 不具合報告（任意）
設定内の「Report bug」をご利用になると、入力された内容（任意）・ページのURL・ブラウザ情報が当方のシステム（例：リポジトリの issue）に送信される場合があります。個人情報を含めないようご注意ください。
2. Google アナリティクス
サイトの利用状況（訪問者数・閲覧ページなど）を把握するため、Google アナリティクスを使用しています。Google により IP アドレス・おおよその位置・端末種類・ブラウザなどのデータが収集される場合があります。これらは Google のプライバシーポリシー に従います。当サイトでは集計されたデータのみを利用し、サイト改善に役立てています。
3. ローカルストレージ（お使いの端末のみ）
サイトでは、ブラウザのローカルストレージに以下を保存しています。
- 設定 — テーマ・言語・文字サイズ・音・表示オプション・日次目標など、選択内容を記憶するための項目です。
- プレイデータ — 今日打った単語数・連続日数・活動カレンダー・誤答リスト・統計・カスタム単語リストなど。これらはお使いの端末にのみ保存され、当サイトのサーバーには送信・保存されません。
ブラウザの設定（サイトデータ／ローカルストレージの削除）から、いつでもこれらのデータを削除できます。
4. 第三者および外部リンク
当サイトでは Google をアナリティクス（上記）および、ログイン時の認証（OAuth）に利用しています。ログイン時には Supabase にアカウント関連データ（表示名・ランキングスコア・活動履歴）を保存します。詳細は Supabase Privacy をご覧ください。このほか第三者のトラッカーは埋め込んでいません。外部サイト（寄付ページ Ko-fi など）へのリンク先には、それぞれのプライバシーポリシーが適用されます。
5. 変更
このページは随時更新することがあります。更新時に、冒頭の「最終更新」日を変更します。
